1. Load range classified by vehicle type
Mini truck: The load is usually 0-5 tons, suitable for light transportation such as urban distribution.
Light truck: Load 1.8-6 tons, length 4-6 meters, mainly used for short-distance transportation in urban areas.
Medium truck: Load 5-15 tons (commonly 6-10 tons), length 7-10 meters, suitable for medium and short-distance transportation.
Heavy truck: Load 10-40 tons (some can reach more than 100 tons), length more than 10 meters, used for large-scale logistics or coal transportation, etc.
Ultra-heavy truck: Such as semi-trailers or flatbed trailers, the load can reach 30-60 tons or even hundreds of tons.
2. According to the corresponding relationship between body length and load 4.2-meter truck: Load about 2.5-5 tons.
6.2m truck: Loading capacity is about 6-8 tons.
7.2-8.8m truck: Loading capacity is about 8-10 tons.
9.6m truck: Loading capacity is 10-15 tons (15 tons for single axle, 20-25 tons for double axle).
12.5-17m truck: Loading capacity is 20-40 tons (can be increased to 45 tons with increased number of axles).
3. Examples of special purpose truck loads
Refrigerated truck: 7.2m model has a load capacity of 8-10 tons.
Dump truck: 6.2m model has a load capacity of up to 40 tons, far exceeding ordinary trucks.
Container truck: 38 tons or 44 tons (such as container trucks).
